They all can cause instability, slowness and higher operating temps. The first thing to suspect when you get those symptoms is unneeded software, like anti-virus, so-called 'cleaning/tune-up' apps, adware, and some online banking security packages.
Is that what prompted you to look the temps? Is there one or two specific tasks that cause the freezing or is this an 'all the time' thing? I am having some issues with the computer freezing and running slow.
